UNESCO Chair on Cultural Property Law - international team
Dr. Luis-Javier Capote-Pérez, Civil Law Lecturer (Profesor Contratado Doctor) at the Universidad de La
Laguna. He is Acting Judge at the Court of Appeal of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. He
is member of the Program Committee of the Santander Art and Culture Law
Review. He has been Serectary and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Law of La
Laguna. He is the Secretary of the Cultural Chair "Francisco Tomás y
Valiente" and the Director of Radio Campus (University Radio Station) of
La Laguna. His first book is El tiempo compartido en España (Tirant Lo
Blanch, 2009), a study about timesharing in Comparative and Spanish Law.
He has authored publications on family law, real rights and intellectual
property. Luis-Javier holds a PhD in Law from the University of La Laguna. The

Prof. Ivana Kunda, Associate
Professor and the Head of the International and European Private Law Department
at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rijeka, and a Vice-Dean for Science.
She holds her LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Rijeka and her S.J.D. from
the University of Zagreb. She was awarded the University of Rijeka Foundation
Award for the Year of 2008. Ivana was granted international scholarships
including the Fulbright Research Fellow scholarship in 2010 for the research at
the Columbia University, the Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht
scholarship in 2007, 2008 and 2014 for the research at the Max Planck Institute
for Innovation and Competition and the Deutsche Stiftung für internationale
rechtliche Zusammenarbeit scholarship in 2002 for research at the Max Planck
Institute for Comparative and International Private Law. She authored papers
published in Croatia and abroad and a monograph on overriding mandatory
provisions. Ivana is a member of the International Law Association and
International Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in
Intellectual Property as well as deputy president of the Croatian Comparative
Law Association.
Dr
Chinmay Pandya serves currently as the Pro Vice Chancellor of
DevSanskritiVishwavidyalaya (DSVV). Following medical studies in India,
he trained in the United Kingdom, where he gained Membership of the
Royal College of Psychiatrists. He serves on the Governing Body of the
Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICR), is a member of the Adrisory
Council of the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani,
Siddha & Homeopathy. He has represented India in the
Inter-Governmental meeting of the UNESCO on intangible cultural heritage
and served as Board of Trustees of India Development Foundation. He is
also one of the judges of the globally prestigious Templeton Prize
Committee.
Prof. Budislav Vukas is a full
professor at the University of Rijeka - Faculty of Law. He is a member of the
Legal History Chair. At the center of his scientific interests are contemporary
legal history and the history of international law. He collaborates with
several European universities (University of Siena - Italy, University of
Camerino – Italy, and other Croatian universities) on PhD Programs. He is a
member of the Program Council of Santander Art and Culture Law Review,
Editorial Boards of Višegrad Journal on Human Rights and Collection of Papers
of the Law Faculty University of Bihać - Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has
participated in the work of the Council of Experts to dealing with the
consequences of undemocratic regimes established by the Government of the
Republic of Croatia. He is a member of the Academy of Legal Sciences of
Croatia.
